About The Initiative

The Loken Foundation is proud to partner with the California Family Engagement Network (CA-FEN) to launch “Families First: Strengthening Engagement, Amplifying Impact”. Together, we place families at the center of education, empowering them to actively engage in school communities and hold educational leaders accountable statewide.
Through this partnership, we are advancing CA-FEN’s mission to strengthen advocacy and leadership accountability, ensuring families have a voice in policy, decision-making, and equitable education practices across California.

Family Leadership Academy – Equip families to lead engagement initiatives, advocate for equitable policies, and participate in school and district decision-making.

Community-Family Advisory Panels – Gather statewide family feedback to inform policy, improve accountability, and strengthen leadership responsiveness.
